Terms of Service
Last updated: 5 October 2026
The short version
- You're buying a license to use FriendClient, not the software itself.
- Servers have their own rules. If you get banned or punished anywhere, that's between you and that server or platform. We don't refund or compensate for it.
- We revoke keys that are shared, resold, cracked or charged back.
- FriendClient may be changed or shut down, for example if Mojang or Microsoft require it. "Lifetime" means the lifetime of FriendClient, not yours.
- Your key is delivered instantly, so once you've received it the 14-day withdrawal right no longer applies.
This summary is for convenience; the full terms below are what count.
1. Who we are and what these terms cover
FriendClient (Friendclient.co) is run by Marcus Lennander and Melker Ljungkvist, Sweden ("we", "us"). You can reach us at friendclient.support@gmail.com.
These terms are a contract between you and us for buying a FriendClient license and using FriendClient and this website. By buying a license or using FriendClient you agree to them. If you're under 18, you need permission from a parent or guardian to buy.
2. Not affiliated with Mojang or Microsoft
FriendClient is an independent, unofficial modification for Minecraft. NOT AN OFFICIAL MINECRAFT PRODUCT. NOT APPROVED BY OR ASSOCIATED WITH MOJANG OR MICROSOFT. Minecraft is a trademark of Mojang AB.
You need your own legitimate copy of Minecraft. Your use of Minecraft stays subject to Mojang's and Microsoft's own terms, and nothing we say overrides them.
3. Your license
When you buy, you get a license key. It gives you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable and revocable license to use FriendClient on the number of devices stated on our website when you buy (currently one), for as long as your plan lasts. You don't buy the software, the code or any ownership of it.
You must not:
- share, sell, give away, rent or publish your key, or let others use it;
- copy, decompile, reverse engineer, crack, patch, or otherwise try to get around the license check, except where the law expressly allows it;
- redistribute FriendClient or any part of it;
- use FriendClient for anything illegal.
FriendClient checks your key with our server when it starts and then works offline for up to 3 days at a time. When we release an update, older versions may stop working until you download the latest version.
Accounts are optional. If you make one, keep your login details to yourself; you're responsible for what happens through your account. Your account shows your keys but can't change them. Moving a key to a new device goes through support. We may suspend an account that's used to break these terms. Deleting your account doesn't refund any purchase.
4. Plans, renewals and cancelling
Monthly and yearly plans renew automatically, and you're charged at the start of each new period until you cancel. You can cancel at any time in the subscription portal. After cancelling you keep access until the end of the period you've already paid for, and you won't be charged again. If a renewal payment fails, your key stops working at the end of the last paid period.
The lifetime plan is a single payment. "Lifetime" means for as long as we offer and maintain FriendClient. It does not mean your lifetime or the lifetime of any device (see section 8).
Prices are shown before you pay. Payments are processed by Stripe; we never see or store your full card details.
5. Instant delivery and your right of withdrawal
Your key is delivered as soon as your payment goes through. If you're a consumer in the EU or EEA, you normally have 14 days to withdraw from an online purchase. Because FriendClient is digital content delivered immediately, at checkout you ask us to deliver it straight away and acknowledge that you lose your right of withdrawal once your key has been delivered. We confirm this when we deliver your key.
6. Refunds
Because keys are delivered instantly and can't be returned, payments are non-refundable once your key has been delivered, except:
- where the law requires a refund, for example if FriendClient doesn't work as described and we can't fix it within a reasonable time;
- if you were charged by mistake, such as a double charge. Contact us within 14 days;
- as described in section 8 if FriendClient is discontinued.
Any other refund is at our discretion. When we refund a payment, the key from that payment is revoked.
Please contact us before opening a dispute or chargeback. Most problems can be fixed quickly. If a payment is disputed or charged back, the key from that payment is revoked automatically.
7. Bans, server rules and your accounts
Servers, networks and platforms set their own rules, and some don't allow modified clients. It's your responsibility to check and follow the rules of every server and service you use FriendClient on.
You use FriendClient at your own risk. We are not responsible for, and will not refund or compensate you for, any ban, suspension, kick, mute, or reset, or any loss of progress, items, ranks, currency or purchases, or any other action taken against your Minecraft, Microsoft or server accounts, whether or not it's connected to FriendClient.
8. Changes, suspension and discontinuation
We may update, change or remove FriendClient's features at any time.
We may suspend or permanently discontinue FriendClient, in whole or in part, at any time. That includes when Mojang, Microsoft, a payment provider, a hosting provider, a court or the law asks or requires us to. If we discontinue FriendClient:
- subscriptions stop renewing and you won't be charged again;
- where the law requires it, we refund the unused part of a prepaid subscription period;
- lifetime licenses end, because "lifetime" means the lifetime of FriendClient.
Where we reasonably can, we'll give notice on this website before discontinuing FriendClient.
9. Revoking keys
We may suspend or revoke your key without a refund if we reasonably believe you've broken these terms. Examples include sharing or reselling your key, trying to crack or bypass the license check, fraud, or a chargeback. We may also refuse future purchases. You can stop using FriendClient at any time.
10. No warranty
To the maximum extent the law allows, FriendClient is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind. We don't promise that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, available at any particular time, or compatible with any particular Minecraft version, server, mod or device.
If you're a consumer, you keep the rights the law of your country gives you, for example for digital content that doesn't match its description. Nothing in these terms takes those rights away.
11. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent the law allows:
- we're not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential loss, or for loss of data, accounts, in-game items, progress or profits;
- our total liability to you for all claims is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
These limits don't apply where the law doesn't allow them to, for example for harm we cause intentionally or through gross negligence.
12. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The version in force when you buy applies to that purchase. For subscriptions, important changes take effect from your next renewal after we've given notice, and you can cancel before then if you don't agree.
13. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Sweden. If you're a consumer, you also keep the protection of the mandatory laws of the country where you live, and you can take legal action in its courts.
